Natasha. A funky pencil portrait with the addition of gold and silver leaf. I have never gilded on paper before, this was on heavy watercolour paper. Framed portrait in situ.
"The A-Team" Commissioned portrait based on the 1980's tv series. Apart from B.A. Baracus (Mr.T) the rest of the original cast are replaced by the clients friends portraits. "What's Cooking?" Oil on canvas 100 x 150 cm I was commissioned by a client to create a hectic kitchen scene. With as much going on as possible, Chefs everywhere and a bit of fun included. I started off by searching the net for some good images of chefs etc which wasn't too hard to find. Once I found some interesting characters I made some
"Crazy little thing called LOVE" A recent commission, a wedding gift. Apart from the references to LOVE, the groom is a Manchester United fan, so had to find a few Man U headlines. Mixed media on canvas 98 x 115 cm
Latest commission, Gilded Tiger. 100 x 100 cm I textured the canvas first of all, then applied the gold. Drew out the tiger and painted it in black acrylic. Finishing it off with varnish. Packing it up well then and off to England it goes!
